Norman Rockwell Biography: Throughout an illustrious art career that spanned 66 years, Norman Rockwell painted life as it ought to be, capturing the spirit of a nation and the love and admiration of generations. A prolific artist, he produced between 700 and 800 magazine covers, including 325 for the Saturday Evening Post, plus hundreds of illustrations for magazines, books, calendars, greeting cards and advertisements. The continuing popularity of his art over the years is a testament to its classic subject matter and timeless appeal.

Among his numerous award and accolades, Norman Rockwell was elected to the Bradford Exchange Plate Artist Hall of Fame in recognition of his lifetime achievement and his contributions to the limited-edition collector's plate medium.
