This is is a reference guide to the most collectible movie star memorabilia: magazine covers, signed photographs, postcards, posters, props and souvenirs, systematically covered with details of film stars, reference/serial numbers and price guides. Movies started to become popular in the 1890's as motion picture cameras were created. The original movies were only a minute long and had no sound. We didn't start seeing movies with sound until 1927. Movie Star Memorabilia
The world wouldn’t see the first true color movies until the late 1930’s. From the advancement of camera technology to the inclusion of modern special effects, movies have come a long way. Over the years there have been thousands of great movies and movie stars. We have created a collection of some of the best pieces of movie memorabilia anywhere. The memorabilia pages are dedicated to my late sister, P. Cunningham who as a little girl began cutting and pasting in her scrapbook many famous movie stars. That is what girls did before there was television and internet. It became their favorite pastime.
I hope you enjoy looking at the old pictures as much as I have making and sharing these pages with you!
