Wood folk art encompasses art produced by peasants or other laboring tradespeople. There are many different ways to think about folk art. In fact, there is not one definition for folk art.  We usually think of Folk Art Figures as wood carved collectible figures in simple clothes and hair do's that were hand made by local people.  Wood N Folks were purchased for our store inventory several years ago and have been in storage, never sold or pre-owned.  They were purchased from a company and I doubt that any of them are hand-carved but probably massed produced as a good looking reproduction and great prices.
